Look Younger with a Professional Teeth Whitening Treatment

Look Younger with a Professional Teeth Whitening Treatment

Time takes a toll on your appearance. Gray hair, wrinkles, sagginess, and even yellowing teeth can all make you look older than you are. And though there’s nothing wrong with looking your age, most of us pursue a more youthful appearance.

Stroll through the aisles of any drugstore, and you’ll find all sorts of products designed to help you look younger. But one procedure available at Century City Smiles and Orthodontics can have an outsized impact on your appearance. Getting your teeth professionally whitened by our Shawn Saidian, DDS instantly takes years off your smile!

The in-office whitening difference

Along with the many anti-aging products you’ll find on store shelves, you’ll also see many at-home teeth whitening kits and wonder about the difference between at-home and in-office treatments. The answer at Century City Smiles and Orthodontics has two parts: strength and LED lights.

We use a product called Zoom!® The active ingredient is hydrogen peroxide, but it’s in a stronger concentration than you’ll find in at-home whitening kits. Additionally, once Dr. Saidian has applied the whitening agent to your teeth, he then uses special LED whitening lamps to activate it.

With at-home treatments, you must frequently repeat the process to reach the shade you want. In our office, the whitening lamps and stronger whitening agents mean your teeth can be many shades whiter with just one treatment.

How whitening can help you look younger

Over time, teeth become stained, enamel thins, and gums may begin to look duller and less pink. Teeth may even wear down.

When you look at yourself in the mirror, you may not notice these precise changes, but you probably do notice that you look older.

Often, our patients are surprised by the change in their appearance after whitening their teeth. It’s a simple and fast procedure that yields big results.

Looking younger can build your confidence

When you’re proud of your smile, you tend to smile more often. Smiling more often signals to the world that you’re friendly and pleasant.

Feeling great about how you look lends you confidence. Perhaps you’ll be more comfortable asking for a promotion at work or going to a party. The fact is, you interact with the world differently when you have a fantastic smile.

What will change for you?

Don’t wonder if your life could be better if your smile helped you look a few years younger. Schedule an appointment at Century City Smiles and Orthodontics to talk to Dr. Saidian and find out if professional teeth whitening is right for you!
